Bus 6 is running about 15 minutes behind. There is a substitute driver and the route was late getting started.
Bus 4 is running 15 min late. The regular drive took ill and the company had to find a last-minute sub.

Veterans' Day Food Drive! Indian Hill is supporting troops with a food drive starting Monday. Items will be donated to Caring Patriots, a local non-profit providing Thanksgiving dinner baskets to over 1,000 veterans and their families.
PFA Author Visit Next Wednesday! Author, Eileen Meyer, will be introducing her new book “The Superlative A. Lincoln”. It is a book of poems about Abraham Lincoln. The event is for all grade levels and will be hosted at Chippewa at 7:00 PM.
The Chippewa Parade is moved to the gym and music hallway at 1:15
Wednesday, October 30 is the first hotdog day of the year.
Wednesday, October 23 is Unity Day at Chippewa School. The students and staff are encouraged to wear orange. There will be a short parade on the Chippewa playground at 8:30.
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has announced that this year’s theme for Fire Prevention Week will be “Plan & Practice your Escape. Displays are due October 9.

Thank you for your patience while we are establishing the morning routines at Chippewa. Please remember that traffic on Austin is one way in the northbound direction from 8:00-8:30. A new sign will be posted soon. We aslo ask that the children stay in the cars until the driver is in the orange cone zone. Our goal is to keep our children safe.
I look forward to seeing all of the bus riders at the bus round up on Thursday, August 15 at 6:00. Bus routes and times will be distributed at this time.

Save the date: August 15 is the bus round up for all first through third grade bus riders. The students and their parents will take a practice bus ride. A new family orientation will follow the bus round up at 7:00

Chippewa celebrates World Down Syndrome Day! We celebrated all things that make us unique and special! Lexie Facko read 2 books to the class. All the children received bubbles with different facts attached about Down Syndrome. We rocked our socks!!!!
