Please mark your calendar to attend the rescheduled PFA sponsored event with Be Sure Cyber Training and Detective Rich Wistocki. The rescheduled date is March 23 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the Orchard Room at the Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Center. Thank you to the PFA for providing this evening that will be beneficial to our community.
Detective Wistocki will deliver a presentation on how parents can keep their children safe in our digital world. His presentation will cover the following topics:
- Cyberbullying
- Understanding what is on your child’s phone applications
- Internet Predators
- The dangers of posting photos to social media
- Sexting
- File and video sharing
- Monitoring your child’s phone and computers in your home
- Safest cell phones
- Tips on how to approach our child(ren) about monitoring
Due to the different topics being discussed during the presentation, children are not allowed to attend.
